Thanks for the update.

What Media type are you working with?

GOP based media doesn’t seem to work well with dynamic link.

those types with frame based compression seem to work ok.

At least that’s been my experience.

Most video oriented compression types don’t deal well with computer screen captured files.

I’m not sure, but you might look into “Camtasia.” I know they have a decent code for this and likely their software suite may be better able to accomplish what you are looking for.

Search Camtasia in google.

I’m also wondering about simultaneous access…

So if the editor keeps cutting…

and the gfx guy goes ahead and finesses the comp, and then save the file…does it update in PPro while the editor is working?

Hi Matt….

If each output is in it’s own sequence, you should be able to close Premiere, open adobe media encoder, and import the Premiere Project.

Once that is done you can select a sequence from the Project to output as WMV.

However, I’m not sure there is a way to tell media encoder to output all 72 individual sequences in one swoop. Likely have to submit one at a time.

There are capabilities to do something similar in AE, but it assumes you have a set of clips to start with.

No. I noticed the problem when I went to keyframe the threshold by hand..where the values to get it to look the visually the way I want it clip in one direction, but not the other….

So what I did was create a short glow filter object, duped it, offset it

then did this in an alternating way for the other object.

Then I mixed down one cycle of it to a QT with Alpha

dropped it back in and looped it…

essentially this is what I was doing….but couldn’t get the phase adjustment right…

I thin the issue is with the threshold to make things glow….

since it’s based on the pixel values to make the glow….even with a sine wave, you are not getting an “equal” amount of on and off time…

so even with the the curves 180 out of phase you don’t get equal flashing…

hmmm….they sure aren’t making this easy.

Any chance of trying to find a 3rd party app to convert your captured fiels instead of relying on that app?

Select AVI

then see what Codec options it gives you.

DV should be in that somewhere.
