If you hold the ctrl key while you trim an edit, no gap will be created in the first place.
don’t know how that will affect your foley trax.
sort of surprised you’ve already place foley elements in if you’ve not yet reached picture lock, but to each his own. 🙂

I’ll jump in and say….it probably didn’t make the conversion to 64bit this go around (similar to another effect I was looking for). Make a feature (restore) request to try to get in queue for a future release.

Hiya…
just a double check
1) in AE did you not only specify Quicktime with alpha, but also set colors to Millions+ ?
2) Perhaps you need to change the footage interpret option in the project panel. Right click the clip, choose modify, and then Interpret, adjust the alpha settings and see if that works.
