border and crop effect with Premeier CS5
With the latest version of CS5 Adobe Premeier eliminated some of the most usful effects that were included with CS4. One of these, is a simple border, crop, size and color choice.
I can hardly belive Adobe would not have such a rudimentary and useful effect no longer available.
How are any of you doing this?

I’ll jump in and say….it probably didn’t make the conversion to 64bit this go around (similar to another effect I was looking for). Make a feature (restore) request to try to get in queue for a future release.

If you mean the Clip effect that was last used in Ppro2.
Crop or size down the video and put a color matte under the video layer.
Nest both layers and you can rotate or move it around in the frame.
