Alpha channels
I exported an MOV file from after effects with the correct settings for an alpha channel transparency and I imported it into premiere pro cs3. Why won’t premiere pro recognize the alpha channel transparency of the mov file? Does anyone have any suggestions?

just a double check
1) in AE did you not only specify Quicktime with alpha, but also set colors to Millions+ ?
2) Perhaps you need to change the footage interpret option in the project panel. Right click the clip, choose modify, and then Interpret, adjust the alpha settings and see if that works.
