Joe – I saw that video before, I have the latest CS6 and I don’t have that lens distortion filter.

    Hi Alex –
    I’m on 6.00
I got it to work! — Option+click/drag was the way.
I am so used to fpc that I was clicking and letting go of the opt key at the wrong time/sequence

You have to hold opt then let go of the clip then let go of opt.

ah! I saw some cool features at NAB this past Tuesday…so when I came to the office and didn’t see these features (even after doing the latest update) I thought I was doing something wrong…being new with the software and all.
    🙂

again – thank you guys. I’ve been on FCpro for over 11 years and and Discreet Edit and Avid before that, so now I am getting used to the way Premiere Pro works.

    Thank you all.

Kevin i think it would be good if prelude is included within premiere. This way we don’t have to use another software to encode (import) footage from the different cameras. I have a canon 5D, panasonic dvx200, sony EX1 and canon x305 so….
This will also help with the different workflows out there.
    Thank you.

ok so when i import it from the media browser, it reads it from the card and it doesn’t make the file into an mov…so if i eject the card, ppro doesn’t see the file anymore

what’s the proper way to import?
