    Hey,

Thanks so much for that tip. I think I will be using it ALL the time now.

    Very much appreciated,

Whoah, didn’t know that about the plug-ins.

That would have been that ‘gotcha’ I was talking about. I have a few Trapcode plugins in use throughout the project.

    Thanks for the advice.

    Appreciated,

    ALEX

PS – By the way, how do you run in “Rosetta mode”?

    Hi Jon,

Your offer is very much appreciated.

Will send a file now with a description of every step.

Hopefully, you can spot something amiss.

    You are the king!

    Cheers,

    Hi Jon,

I tried your suggestion and it does change the result… but the result is now (what I can only explain as) ‘big black blobs’ in the rough outline of my artwork.

Frustrating. I have all these cartoon logos that I want to make 3D but I can’t make a single one work in Invigorator.

Perhaps someone could post a simple workflow: how to color a shape in Illustrator that will import intact into Invigorator.

Help would be so much appreciated.

    Thanks kindly,

    ALEX

    Ha ha.

Thanks RoRK… but somehow I think I’ll still listen to whatever you have to offer.

    Appreciated,

Whoah… thanks for the responses. Very much appreciated.

The fix ended up being Cmnd+Option+Shift – ‘trash the pref’s’.

Had me REALLY worried for awhile there.

    Thanks so much guys.

    Cheers,

    Hey RoRK,

Thanks for the help… but it ain’t workin’. Have tried it several times and I still get the black screen.

    So frustrating!!!

AE is just there but every time I click on it… BLACKNESS.

Any other way to get there?

    Desperate,

    ALEX

Note to Software Developers – There should be NO button that can do this in any program!

May 18, 2007 at 11:50 am in reply to: Importing Tracking Data?

    Hi… me,

I tried copying the txt file and then pasting it into After Effects and it creates a Motion Tracker > Tracker 1. Yay!

    But now what?

The data doesn’t apply to anything, it’s just there.

I tried to copy the keyframes and paste them into a layer but that just creates a copy of the Tracker 1 info in that layer – but has no active effect on it.

There must be a way to do this. Hopefully some smart AE user out there can help?

    Thanks kindly,

    ALEX
