  • Importing Tracking Data?

    Hi,

I’m using Silhouette Roto as a plug-in for After Effects and it has an option to export Tracking Data (to AE).

It basically makes a .txt file with all the data on it.

Cool… but now what? How do I apply that data to a clip in After Effects.

Can’t seem to find any documentation on how to do it. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

    Thanks kindly,

    ALEX

    Hi… me,

I tried copying the txt file and then pasting it into After Effects and it creates a Motion Tracker > Tracker 1. Yay!

    But now what?

The data doesn’t apply to anything, it’s just there.

I tried to copy the keyframes and paste them into a layer but that just creates a copy of the Tracker 1 info in that layer – but has no active effect on it.

There must be a way to do this. Hopefully some smart AE user out there can help?

    Thanks kindly,

    ALEX
