My mistake. You’re correct – I can copy the camera over, and did so. However, even with the camera copied over, I don’t seem to be able to get the camera to show only part of the composition. Any chance you’d have further advice on this? Thanks again…

Hi Matt, thanks for this.

How would I copy a camera from one comp to another? I’m looking under Edit/Copy, but that option seems to be greyed out when the camera is selected…

Further update – the problem is back again. No blue screen this time, the the same bizarre cutoff as before. Any ideas?

I am having nearly the same exact issue as Rex here, but I am using CS 5.1. You said you encode 24fps DVDs all the time, so I’d love to hear from you on this. When I go into File -> Edit Quality Presets, I can create a customized series of settings, and click OK to save them – but in the Project menu, next to the Premier Project Sequence, it says the DVD Transcode Settings are still at “Automatic.” I don’t know how to select the saved settings that I created under the Edit Quality Presets box – it’s probably really simple, but I’m new at this. Can you help?

Hi all, just to update/conclude this:
After trying pretty much everything I could think of, I tried running another export – and got a Blue Screen Of Death. I rebooted, made sure everything was backed up to an external, and gave the system a full day to chill out, and since then the error hasn’t cropped up again. Mysterious stuff…
