    The odd part is that i can capture fine with imovie…
    In FCP 4.5 I have machine control in my capture window but no audio or video. It shows as “missing apple ntsc…” I went ahead and installed quicktimePro as well.
    Very fustrating!!! Any thoughts??

    okay…just completed an entire uninstall and re-install of fcp 4.5 as instructed by the apple web site.
    with all me fingers crossed i open fcp and wula…i have the same problem:(
    “unable to locate Appple FireWire NTSC (720 x 480)”
    dumb question, but do i need to download quicktimePRO??? can this be the problem??

    thanks for the reply…
    what is the best way to “uninstall” fcp and the rest of the apps? i usually search for the folders and maually delete. is there a better way?
