file> new preset library

here is a way, which is a bit bizarre, but it works.

Shift click on the parameters you want to copy.
ctrl click to set keyframes
right click on them> animation>copy track
open the other material.
shift select all the fields
right click>animation>paste tracks.

move slider left right and Tadda!

just open them up, and then drag em to a library. You might have to create a new library first, because new versions of c4d have the default libraries locked.
