Well, I figured out my finger problem with your advice on the crop/pan solution. But I can’t get my ‘video preview’ to work at all. Thanks again.

No certain finger, actually 2 or 3 of them that are just at the right edge. How do I crop the entire movie, not just part of it? By doing that I’ll get rid of the edge as it’s not needed.
Also my video preview is not working except in trimmer mode. I saw an earlier post that said to click some icon in trimmer mode but I could not find the icon (video monitor icon) . Thanks for your reply, Terry.
Oh, I’m using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 Platinum.

Never mind. I finally figured it out. It threw me when everything is selected when dragging. As long as your track is selected when you drag, only that data gets cut, copied or pasted.
