Simple cut and paste
A cut and paste is supposed to be very simple. Here’s what I’m doing. I “Remove from group” my audio file. I want to select a short few words or part of the frame and cut it out from the audio track (only one track, no other). I can’t figure this out. Normally, you just hold your left mouse button and slide the mouse over what you want to cut, paste, copy, whatever…. but it doesn’t work with Sony Vegas. Can someone tell me how this is done? Thanks a lot.

Never mind. I finally figured it out. It threw me when everything is selected when dragging. As long as your track is selected when you drag, only that data gets cut, copied or pasted.
