    The Avid Title Tool is the worst possibility around. Use Photoshop or Marquee for all your titles, you’ll see it’s easier (but not faster) and the end result is far better. If you need moving titles (crawling or rolling) use definitely After Effects or Marquee.

    Thank you Elvis, I’m using PI3. The main problem is the deflectors allowing some of my particles going through, no matter which settings I use. It’s also very tricky to make the particles to follow the path with the forces. I’m new to this software and this is probably a problem, but I was expecting an easiest way to make the particles to follow a path. Maybe I should go back to AE.

    Thanks Bob. What about the Granite external enclosure with the HighPoint RocketRAID adapter (eight ports, PCI-X). Looks pretty good to me, I could just buy 300 SATA drives (8) and strip then in RAID 0, getting over 2TB storage, and the possibility to add more enclosures as our video collection grows up, but, again, I’m not sure if the performance is going to be good enough for 1:1.
    What do you think guys?
