Can you please recommend some FW800 expansion cards for the MacBook Pro as I don’t seem to be able to find any at the Apple Store? Is it simply a case of sliding it in and away I go?

I think I will invest in a new PowerMac and keep my iMac as a stand alone Logic Studio system for my music.

Out of interest, I have a new macbook pro (2.53 Ghz with 4Gb Ram) How would this fair alongside the V4HD?

Lastly, If I have shot HD footage on my Z1 (1080 50i PAL) what would be the Capture and Sequence settings I should consider in the Audio Visual settings. This is what Im confused about – there seems to be so many options!

PS The Sony deck is a HVRM15AU but if I connect it to the Motu V4HD via firewire it says ‘Firewire Bandwidth Error’! How do I capture through the V4HD?
