    Hello-

“I uninstalled CS3 and got rid of all traces of it. “

I am having issues installing AE8 (CS3) because it claims it conflicts with another copy of AE (a previous attempt at instalation). How can I erase all traces of AE? I’ve tried AppZapper and no luck…

  • Thanks for the quick response.
I think I might have ommited part of my problem: although DVd is an output I need, more importantly, I need it to look good in DV NTSC, to master it to tape! Any soluiton to this specific detail…?? Any help is much appreciated!

I am having the same problem, without even using a chroma key… I posted my question today, maybe read it so we can help each other out. I am currently trying AfterEfefcts as a downconverter, and it looks like it COULD be the way to go. More info soon!

  • Thanks for the perspective… Let me ask this: He bought the MacBook in the United States and brought it to Brazil. Can he get serviced under the warranty here in Brazil? Or do portables have country-specific warranties?

OK, I would try and risk too, but QT 7 doesn’t jive with Panther and FCP HD 4.5, can I go back to QT 6.5.2? How would I do this reliably?

    Thanks for the advice, BTW!

Many Thanks! I will try this… I temporarily solved the issue by exporting the audio as 48 KHZ AIF and then pasting it into the timeline… Did I do something wrong? Will I use quality? I assume not…

Thanks! The mixdown function shall help me tons, I am sure!

I did all of the steps you described, and I DO have a System Folder (in fact, two: one in Portuguese and one in English, because I wanted the option… neither work, though)

OK, so there’s no way I can install a full, independent, OS 9.2.2 environment on my G5…

But I DID go through the instrucitons to have a Classic environment WITHIN Tiger, and it appeared to have happened successfully, but when I chose to start up CLassic, it just stops at the first 5% of the progress bar of the Classic Startup window… Seems like it is getting stuck somwhere at startup.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help, BTW!
