reading that list, i definitely ticked off several. all these ai files were done by someone else and looking at them they could use some organising. thanks a bunch!

thank you both! its fortunate the designs are super simple so everything was convertable to shape layers. i believe the true problem was the puppet tool. strange. was there a particular reason why? is my computer not strong enough to handle puppet tool? curious to know

i was curious about something else although its not too related to this thread but im not sure how i should be searching this up.
i made my cloth but its animated… like, it starts as a board above the bed then falls and takes shape. is there a way to have it still in its right position throughout its entire duration or do i trim the clip until the cloth has settled. im not sure what the tutorial did as its in russian n i dont speak it that well haha”

yes, that works perfectly fine. what do i do next? haha

originally, i changed the ‘camera’ option in CINEWARE effect to ‘centred comp camera’ so i can look around the room with an ae camera tool.

im just bothered by the stretch the camera tool’s lens makes of the room oTL it makes the viewer feel small or the room be very gigantic. :^(

i actually dont have any cameras set up in cinema4d. what im hoping to do is do all of my editing in after effects, camera movement included. there will be things like text and maybe cutouts within that space thats why i need the 3d room to be an editable environment for the things that will be going inside. i assume if ill be doing camera movement in c4d this will not affect the rest of the elements back in after effects..

im just wondering if theres a way to change the camera settings on the ae camera tool..

also, sorry, but what do you mean by ‘extract’?

  • thank you both! i think i figured how to go about this now.
