thanks for replying to my post. my capture settings are the same as the camera ones PAL 720/50 p. does this help

1st of all i would like to say that english is not my first language so i apologize for my spelling mistakes.
I am using the video footage from sony pmw ex3 cameras, PAL settings 720/50p, the external audio device is an ediroll it records in wav format. when i drag the clip in the timeline i click yes for the sequence to be modified to the clip settings.
