The 9.02 update has made ALL the difference. My Ram Previews are now double the duration of what they where previously and take about half the time to render. When viewing the processes in task manager during a render you can see all 5 processes active and the render happens in a quarter of the time.

Also what has become obvious now that it runs at the speed it should. During a render when the processor gets going suddenly the speed of the render can drop until the fan kicks in and a few moments after cools the processor then the render goes back to speed again. – Hope this helps somebody.
