    Hey Perry. Thanks for the advice. I tried a couple other sites, and they all pointed to HDVSplit. It works like a charm! Now I’m just having trouble exporting my work in widescreen format. I’ve got it all set to 16:9 and the original resolution and all that, but it still comes out looking like 4:3, so that kind of stinks. Hopefully I’ll find a way around that.

    I’m not too sure about the noise reduction thing, but I’ll check that out. How long on average (with those specs) should it take to import a movie (transcoding it because its 23.976 instead of 24 fps) that’s about 1 and a half hours?

    Also, can you suggest a program that could possibly convert the files from 23.976 to 24 fps without making the file sizes huge or anything? Thanks again for any help
