The are just black horizontal lines that typically show up at the top and bottom of a graphic. The have also been showing up in random places on the video after rendering.
A new theory is that our gfx card is not a supported one and we need to upgrade that. We found errors in the console that tipped us off it’s just weird that there was no actual error message that Avid displayed after rendering…

I am just preparing a show for output by rendering the effects. The scan lines aren’t there until I render and the are completely random.
It took 3 hours to go through a 30 minute show and crop the scan lines out.

It may sound silly but is the record tab presses in on the tape?
That will inhibit the machine from recording. -
I’m seeing artifacts on both my LCD computer monitor and LCD NTSC monitor. The interpolation problem is associated with any movement (i.e.) zooms, pans, position changes etc.
Update:
I tried Compressing H.264 and that worked to remove the artifacting, however, my audio is cutting in and out and popping. The sound settings were uncompressed, 44.1kHz and 16 sample size.Any idea what is affesting the audio?

I just want full screen uncompressed 720 X 486. I want to take that file into Adobe Encore to author a DVD.
