I think we’re going to try and keep the camera moves more linear. (just simple moves in and across the subjects) The producer did want to do some shots that would push in towards the subject, and then the jib would come up over top of the subject with the camera looking down. We may try this for an experiment. But making sure to get plenty for simpler shots incase they don

    Thanks for the reply,

The video is a shot of a traditional aboriginal rock formation. The effect/transition I’m using needs to be full screen.
My first thought was to shrink the video inside the frame and create graphics to hide the borders, but the client didn

They’re having some budget issues, Its for an award show. All the footage was shot 16X9 D1 NTSC. The show is broadcasted in HD but all of the graphics/Animation & editing for the show is being done 16X9 NTSC so they can upconvert it with minamal problems. Its seems wierd to me, but I have no control over this.

“I’d work in a 864×486 square-pixel comp. It’s 16×9. When I was done, I’d put it into a 720×486 D1 comp, scale the layer to fit the comp (Command-Option-f Mac) and render.”

—–Correct me if I’m wrong but this seems like more work then it needs to be, when I can just work in a 720X540 square pixel- D1/DV NTSC Widscreen comp. Then use pixel aspect ratio correction to view it as it will look correctly. Then when I render just select stretch in the output moual and select 720X486 in the dropdown menu.

    No sure I’m understanding. Sorry,

I just bought a new MacBook Pro, With a faster 100 rpm drive. If I convert all of my animation codec movies to uncompressed video 8 bit, will I get
RT playback? Another option would be to convert everything to DV NTSC but the quality is’nt as good. Based on my computer. (MacBook Pro) Out of the box can it realisticly only be used for an Off-line edit suite? And if I wanted to On-line the project would I have to bring it to an On-line suite?
Or connect my laptop to a raid?

Sorry just getting back into this. Thanks for the respones so far.

    Hope somone can help.

    Cheers.
