Well, I’m running Resolve on a 3 year old Windows machine and it runs ok. So I guess the problem is in your system. Not Resolve.

Peter, V9 seems uninstalled now. Although I didn’t manually uninstall it, but rather tried upgrading it, it is now somehow gone from my drive.
You think I should download V10 again because you think it is corrupted?

The COW is great and all. But I feel sometimes there’s a bit of elitism in some boards towards beginners questions.
A paid service would be nondiscriminatory.

So this is available with the Resolve Panels? As far as I understood, it isn’t. There is something similar but not exactly like this.
Anyways, BMD’s silence in this thread is pretty worrisome. If it was at least planned for the near future somebody would have posted here already after so many requests. But nada!
Pity that pretty much any NLE out there has this function but the so called industry standard for color correction does not and doesn’t seem interested in adding it or talking to us about it.

Ok, but then why rough cut in Resolve? Why not just do it all in FCP? FCP is the editor.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to do it backwards? Just to make your life harder? FCP is the editor. Cut in FCP and export to Resolve for finishing. 😉
