Hi David,
What with cost being an obvious issue, but mainly working mostly in SD (for now), i’d have to say SD.
Unless someone tells me i can get an HD monitor for less than 500 squid!!

It’s mainly monitoring colour & interlaced screen (for checking DVD’s etc…, would i be better off just attaching a small telly? And can FCP support me having a secong display as well as an external monitor?
