But is the picture quality any better.
A 10 min programme cbr at say a data rate of 7, and a vbr at any settings, will the vbr be a better picture.
For these small programmes size/efficiency is not an issue, just best pic quality

If you only have a 10 – 15 min programme how does 2 pass make it better?
It will make it smaller, yes, but better??

To pick up on this post.
I have to use a friends laptop to encode M100 ref files (the media files needed are on an external drive) through Compressor.
Encoding time seems long, so checked in the QuickTime folder and found Media 100 Transcoder.Component , Media 100 componant, Media 100HD Video Output.component , Media 100HD.componant.
For using Compressor, do I need all these?
Obviously there is no M100 hardware on or connected to the laptop, so can or should any of these be deleted?

So if when I get this message, I crop a little, I will be able to save?
It hurts to have to loose maybe an hours work, to have to restart Photoshop.
Why doesn’t purge free up space to allow a save?

Have to agree with Greg.
Not always 100% reliable with lots of unsynced clips.
Sometimes the odd one is left out.
