Hello Robert,
The solution marking has been removed from the post now.
Once a post has been marked as a solution you can change it to a kudos (lightbulb). You can now remove the ranking by clicking the icon again. Only leaders or the author of the thread can assign or remove these special markings.
Best regards,

We do re-encode all videos now.
Previous attempts to trust the authors’ content as being web ready had little success and left viewers confused when the videos wouldn’t play. We now have the option to have the original untouched version available but it is not the default version that is played.
Our re-encoding system is virtually lossless for the default version but ensures the video is ready for the player. We also re-encode other sizes and platforms including iPhone, iPad, Android and other devices.
We currently accept nearly every format and codec up to 1920 pixels wide and 1Gig.

Hello James,
Yes, the ‘Make Private’ makes it so the video is not automatically included in any other pages around the Creative COW site. It also adds a meta tag to the page so search engines will not index the page. This feature is meant for people to be able to upload a video and then distribute direct links how they see fit to point people to the video or embed the video on a page if they choose.
The sharing icon is part of the player interface. We’ll be adding additional options to the video embed code soon.
Thank you for your feedback!

Hello Jason,
The text you are referring to was changed a little while ago, the new text reads. “Make Original Uncompressed Video Available, it is setup for the Flash Player / H.264.”
Doing this keeps the original video untouched and makes it available for people to view, just not the default version.
When we allowed the default version to be the original uploaded file there were many complaints from people when playback didn’t work. Most often the original file was not ready for web playback and this still is the case when people check the box. We’ve found the best result has been to re-encode at a super high quality, keeping the original size (up to 1920W) and a good compression rate.

Hello Alex,
Thank you for your feedback. Hyperlinks will be automatically created for you, so you actually don’t have to set the URL as a hyperlink each time. The keyboard shortcuts would be a nice touch and we’ll keep that in mind for future developments.
Have a great day!

Is there any other information you can provide such as which videos you are having trouble with, what your OS / Browser is, what your Flash version is, a screen shot or something else? Saying it’s not working doesn’t allow us to help you much besides saying it works for most everyone else.
