    hyperlink shortcut?

    Just wondering if there is a plan to have rich text editor on the forum? I don’t really need one but I use a lot (maybe too many) hyperlinks in my posts and each one is causing a bit too much mousing around. Highlight the text, click on the “L”, go back and highlight the text again, insert the URL. At least two mousing maneuvers and two keystrokes.

    I would love to have a capability to, say, Ctrl-K on a highlighted text (a la Outlook), insert the URL and be done with it.

    Maybe Ctrl-B to make things bold once in a while… 🙂

    Hello Alex,

    Thank you for your feedback. Hyperlinks will be automatically created for you, so you actually don’t have to set the URL as a hyperlink each time. The keyboard shortcuts would be a nice touch and we’ll keep that in mind for future developments.

    Thanks Abraham. I didn’t mean URLs (I know those are automatically hyperlinked) – I meant custom hyperlinks where arbitrary text is hyperlinked with an arbitrary URL.

    Those are currently a pain to work with.

    Hello Alex,

    Hyperlink shortcuts have been added now and mapped to Ctrl+k
    Embolden is Ctrl+b
    Italicize is Ctrl+i
    Underline is Ctrl+u
    List is Ctrl+l
