Yeah, it’s not working like that. I was hoping to get a live read along and be able to skip to a particular words by clicking on it. Doesn’t look possible in the timeline. If you can prove me wrong I’d be grateful.
For now I’ll just drop a bunch of markers on the audio and THEN add it to the timeline.

I just started using FCP7 again after learning and using PPro for a few years. I missed the control of curves. Then started learning Color. For what I do it’s great. Curves are back!
I edit whiteboard scribing videos. Fairly simple stuff, but I like the ability to pinpoint the red marker and change it to a super vibrant red. The Hug and Luma curve are super helpful to get client logo colors a lot closer. Does X have these same controls? I played with it a little but it seemed limited and to where the hi mid & lows were.

Wow, Bruce Bennett. I’m finishing a up a project and was wondering what those in the know use for music. (I don’t have ProTools working yet) This was the first one I clicked on. I was like “Hmm, that guy looks familiar.” We met at an MCIA Meeting last year. Wanted your opinion on a my demo reel and never talked to you again. But hey, you did get me more interested in COW forums.

I’ll look into Music2Hues. Keep it real

    So far nothing’s worked.
The camera records directly to the a hard drive. Then they use Compressor (I believe)to turn it into a format we can use it in the PC Lab. My guess is I’ve got the “raw” file that the camera spits out(JVC).
I haven’t tried Raylight but you sound like you know what you’re talking about.

    I wish my brother-in-law was home. he’s got FCP…
