By the way I see the frame rate in my Browser in FCP and also when I CTRL click the clip and go to item properties it also states the frame rate as 30 fps.

And yeah you’re right about Quicktime….that’s where I am seeing that the clip is at 24 fps.

Let me start from the top:

The footage was shot on a JVC HD100 and brought in using Lumiere HD (this was before FCP supported native HDV). The plan was to do the offline in DV and then reconnect to the original HDV files for the online. My editor and I have since learned that we should have used the AIC codec for the offline to begin with but had already began this course. This is my first time dealing with an online, so if the workflow from the Lumiere site is flawed; perhaps another workflow all together will better suit me and I am definitely willing to try something else.

If I knew everything about FCP I wouldn’t need the help. Sometimes it helps to backtrack over even the most remedial settings, it appears that Easy Setup is a default setting for Sequences when you open a new project. If that’s the case, then I am doing everything correct and I am still ending up with a Frame Rate problem. If anyone out there knows what I am talking about please point me in the right direction or to an old posts that have covered this….otherwise I am all ears

Is Easy Setup the same as Sequence Settings? It looks like my original Easy Setup was DV/DVCPRO NTSC 24p for my DV edit and once I made the offline I set it up in Media Manager to be HDV 720p24p
