Thanks so much for the tip Colin. Surprisingly finding training courses are more difficult than I thought.

Thanks Craig that does look like the options I’m looking for. Can you tell does telestream have presets for VOD or specific companies distribution companies?

I apologize Michael, I have a client that is hot to obtain delivery on a spot. I searched through the articles quickly looking for a fast fix. I will revisit them. Thanks for your assistance, I appreciate the help.

Thanks Michael for the links. Do you have any recommendations on how to handle this issue? The only thing I could think is to apply a color correction in Avid that will match true when I export a ProRes QT.

    thoughts?

Thank you Michael. Frame size would be 1080i and 1080P both 29.97 and 23.97 most likely single stream. I could bump up to an 8tb RAID 5 for the read/write speed, however that is way more space than we will need.

    Thanks again for your assistance!

Does 1:1X introduce more of a lossless compression than DNx? If these QTs are brought back into Avid down the road will the quicktime get re-compressed upon import? Still a bit fuzzy about the differences between these two codecs and having trouble finding something online about it.

Is Avid 1:1 the same as Avid 1:1x?

    Thanks Mike – I finished using DNxHD220 and 1:1 for titles/gfx renders.
