Also, I have used multicam for 3 cam shoots. Love it.

Yea, I understand. I havent used compound clips much at all. I think it has something to do with when FCPX first came out, there was something about them that turned me off. And Multicam has been a breeze for matching audio with video. Nonetheless, seems like I will need to dig back into compound clips.

Thanks for the confirmation. Right now, I just use multicam as a quick way to marry my audio thats recorded separately with my video that has a scratch track – its not actually a multicam shoot. But I think Apple should definitely look into this. Id love to use audition in this way.

While I found an external drive, I was intrigued by your advice. Did not know a sequence of installs would work on their own given the next image was mounted. thanks for that info! seems pretty obvious but i never thought of it. Thanks, again. I’m sure it will be helpful in the future

I thought about this. I eventually found a friend with an external DVD drive, though. Thanks for your reply!

“If the folder isn’t there it’s because you haven’t created any custom presets. Either make a preset, or just copy over your other folder.”

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, as I suggested in the original post, the “Compressor” folder is not to be found in the aforementioned directory. I think I will just give up on Compressor 3.5 and make the move to 4
