Do you have the credit ‘ease-in’ and ‘ease-out’ options selected? If so, what happens if you get rid of them? Also, what happens when you export your project as an AVI file, rather than a WMV?

I just got this device and it works pretty well. You can’t define the sensitivity in terms of duration (ie: 10 seconds or 10 minutes), but overall I am very pleased with the overall performance.

I had one of those a while ago. Make sure that the output switch on the deck specifically states DV. Since the deck has various I/O interfaces, it may not be selecting the right output option.

If that doesn’t work, try the following:

a) A new fire-wire card
b) A new fire-wire cable.
