Premier Pro 2 problem
Posted by Sam Rose on February 16, 2007 at 7:01 pmHi
I have Windows Vista Ultimate and premier pro 2. When I load it up the logo screen displays for a few seconds then it closes. I know of other people who have it running on Vista so what is wrong and how do I fix it? I have already reinstalled the program. Thanks

February 16, 2007 at 7:46 pmIt’s very unlikely that it will run (it didn’t for me and most of the people who I know tried it), and if it does, it is not to be trusted anyway.
If you just purchased a new Vista machine, I would recommend that you install XP if you want to do any serious editing, otherwise I’m sure Adobe will welcome you as a beta tester…

February 18, 2007 at 6:50 pmI wouldn’t un Vista yet, Hardware guys need to write drivers that are compatible, software guys need to test and develop pacthes to make their programs compatible. when you see drivers and patches on most of the software/hardware vendors’ websites, then only it’s time to upgrade your OS.
Just my opinion though.
