Zoom H6n Recording – Audio Hickups in created .WAV File
Hello!
I’ve got an urgent question and maybe some of you have experienced this issue or have an solution to it.
Recently we’ve been recording some interview stuff during a clients job with an Zoom H6n with an Rode NTG4+ and the Sennheiser G4 Wireless Lavs. While recording we couldn’t hear any issues but when we stopped the recording and played the created file back we noticed weird hickups and cracking noises in the recording. Both Tracks had this problem, the first file had this issues in the last third of the recording and the second one from the beginning to the end.
As we realized that something went wrong we restarted and reconnected everything and the following recordings were again without an issue.
Does somebody now what happened and maybe if its fixable? I already tried the RAW Import method mentioned around some forums using Audacity but without any luck.
Here is the corrupted file: https://f1.creativecow.net/12667/recording-sample-zoom-h6n?uploaded=file
Thanks in advance
Kevin
