zeroing out position coordinates for puppet pins
Posted by Sean Platt on September 27, 2018 at 2:05 pmHey there. I was wondering if there is a way to zero out position coordinates for puppet pins? Probably right under my nose but haven’t seem to get it to work if it is possible? Thanks.

September 29, 2018 at 1:08 pmThanks, Kalleheikki Kannisto. When I do that, I lose the puppet pins. I am looking for a way to zero out the coordinates without losing the puppet pins.

September 29, 2018 at 7:41 pmWhen I do that on a keyframed puppet pin layer I get a new keyframe with the puppet pins in their original position, so it sounds like you’re pressing a different reset button than I. Also, are you in AE CC2018?

Perhaps parenting them to nulls might do so, but I kinda doubt it. At least you will need additional expression code to get them back in the right place, I believe.
