    Hello,

Just a quick question, how do these 2 products compare?
Zaxwerks Invigorator Pro and Boris FX Units 3D Objects.
They seem quite evenly priced, with similar features.
I mainly need to do realistic 3D text, some logos/objects
and learning/buying Cinema 4D might be overkill.
It would be useful to hear some opinions from people with working experience of each.

    Thanks

[My current graphics card doesn’t run the demos so I’m researching options].

I’m afraid that I haven’t worked with Boris; but I’ve used other Boris projects and when there’s a major AE or OS update, the Boris filters don’t update (the EFFECT layer is there, but no keyframes or filter). This happened so many times, that I quit updating Boris.

I’ve used Invigorator since its inception, and it’s been a godsend. I HIGHLY recommend it for logos and more. I also recommend that you get the Invig Pro – This allows you to bring into AE models from other 3D programs…

As a rarely used zax expert, I can easily plug Zax’s solutions as the BEST by far of ANY 3d solution in after effects. The versatility alone makes it the best solution. As you advance in 3d, ONLY ONE PRODUCT is ready for you. AND thats ZAXWERKS. Its models make the jump to high end 3d seamless. That is so important. Zax outputs to ALL major 3d, even my electric Image. Lightwave, max, maya, c4d…..

My career and output would be nothing without Zax’s products.

I’d recommend Invigorator as well. You can design your text or logo in Illustrator and Invigorator automatically makes them 3D. It’s amazing for simple and moderate 3D logo manipulation.
