    Hi everyone

I’m about to begin editing a documentary shot in the Sony Z7 on HDV 1080i 24p. The material is captured on 23.98 fps and I can edit that with no problems in Final Cut on a setup for HDV 24p (I already made a couple of tests).

But before starting the real editing, I want to make sure what is the best workflow for the film, considering the producer has the resources to finish it on 35mm. Should I conform everything first on Cinema Tools to real 24 frames per second so the blow up would be easy? is that possible or even necessary?

Since the audio was captured directly on the camera, I guess I have no issues with sound sync (no 0.01 per cent slowdown) or the audio post.

    Thanks a lot
    ale
