Z1Us Not working anymore
I have 2 Sony Z1Us that I have been using for quite a while. All of a sudden I am unable to find either one of these cameras in Wirecast. I have three laptops that I have tried with but no luck. One day, they just stopped working. Does it maybe have something to do with upgrading to 4.0? I am now using a JVC 100U 24p and it works really well. Does it have anything to do with the 4 pin to 6 pin firewire connections on the Z1Us?. I’m only guessing here. Any help would be appreciated.
BTW. Has anyone put out any comprehensive training videos with tips and tricks for this product? I could sure use it. Love to know how an audio mixer is used properly. etc.Thanks in advance.

Wirecast is at version 4.0.1
Nothing has changed in it’s DV and HDV support. It’s really a “universal” spec so there’s no camera specific work to do. The only variable is attempting to use two cameras on one bus which depends on the camera manufacturer’s implementation.
It sounds like you have a problem with the cables maybe. Maybe the cameras.
