You Gotta Try This. An NLE In Your Pocket :-)
In honor of MC First, here’s the evolution of their previous freebie, (Avid) Pinnacle Studio for iPad. ???? I had heard about LumaFusion a while ago, saw it was on sale for 20 bucks so… Wow. This little thing is seriously cool.
It’s kinda like an amalgamation of different NLE’s and it fits in your pocket.
Video clips with audio “components” that you can detach. 3 A/V Video and 3 Audio only “tracks”. Disconnectable Clip connections to the “primary” clip. Keyframeable audio levels and video transforms, an audio mixer, recallable workspaces, Syncs with DropBox, Box, and other cloud storage, a pretty decent title tool, decent basic effects and user creatable effects presets. Basic Color Correction (saveable presets). Multiple aspect ratio and frame rate presets. Works with 360 video. various export settings. etc etc.
I got it for laughs, but you really can cut stuff on this. On your phone.
I have a 5S and it was way too small, but it works. On an iPad it would be great. Allegedly FCP XML (I think the crappy old fcp6/7 version) output is in the works. In any case, well worth 20 bucks.
