Are you sure it worked before? You may have changed the parent/child relationship which is causing the other tracks to be hidden. If not…
That’s the nature of compositing. It affects ALL of the tracks below it. That’s why programs like After Effects use multiple comps. You have several options in Vegas Pro:
(1) Do your compositing in another project and drop that project into your main project as a “nested” project. This is the most desirable way to address this. It exactly mimics nested comps in AE and it is the primary reason for using nested projects in Vegas Pro.
(2) Move your composite track lower in your project so that the only tracks below it are the ones you want to composite with.
(3) Place White Generate Media on the Mask track so that the video below it will show through. This is the least desirable because it will cause render times to increase significantly because your entire project becomes a composite.
I would strongly recommend option 1.
