    Hello

Well, the posts on this seem varied and dependent on how individuals work. So it might be a bit too much to expect a consensus view.

    Hello Daniel,

I would capture if working on the MAC to the Apple’s Quicktime MOV format to Blackmagic codecs. You can them use Automatic Duck software to open your Apple Final Cut Pro timeline into Adobe After Effects.

Then export back to the Blackmagic design codecs. You can then open the video files on your Microsft Windows Machine and then edit/export all the clips as they will be using the Blackmagic codecs so these can be both used on a MAC and PC systems.

It would be easier then having to export to Photo Jpegs and other formats. The the Alpha channels inside of After Effects, you could export to Blackmagic codecs, then export a seperate alpha channel matte version. Then in your editor etc combine the video clip and the matte and use the matte to create the punch out.

    Hope that helps?
