Yet another mp4 bug in 9.0c – combining mp4 clips
Last week I learned that Vegas Pro isn’t capable of combining mp4 clips with jpgs. A fine mess thanks to Sony. I wonder how many months they’ll take to fix that one?
Today I realise that vegas pro is adding little noise cracks when I join two sony avc (.mp4) clips that were prerendered.
It’s impossible to predict where vegas will add the cracks and pops, but when you look at the audio waveform it’s clear to see how vegas has decided to impose some noise somewhere on the video. This is deeply disturbing. I guess I’ll have to render my intermediate clips in avi maybe? It’s just that rendering sony avc is so fast.
Has anyone else noticed this problem?
