    Hello

I have imported some footage and above it is a yellow render line. Now I know that red means unrendered and green means render.

    The manual states:

A yellow render bar indicates an unrendered section that probably does not need to be rendered in order to play back in real time and at full frame rate. Regardless of their preview quality, sections under either red or yellow render bars should be rendered before you export them to tape.

How do you render the yellow areas as under sequence I click on render work area of render effects area and it plays it but nothing happens and the color doesnt change.

    Thank you.

Sequence > Render effects in work area should do it. It could be that your drive isn’t fast enough or that you are running out of space ?

What type of footage are you playing back ?

You could also try purging all render files first.

Have you set your work area bar over your footage before hitting Render Entire Work Area?
