I’m working on a broadcast project requiring an IRE between 100 and 7.5. I went through and adjusted each clip with the brightness/contrast effect. Everything looks great on the YC Waveform monitor until I nest the project sequences together on the master timeline. A quick check with the YC monitor shows my highs near 110 IRE on the master track. Checking the original shows proper levels. I know the PPRO monitor is not the most accurate but it should at least be consistent. Has anyone else run into this?

    Thanks,

I did notice that a while back. It actually appears that the brightness and contrast filter just doesn’ t get past on to the new nested sequence. A big bug ? It sure seems like it….

You could use levels instead, it will actually give you much more control, and it does work in the new sequence.

    Sorry, just a workaround here….
