Yamaha o1v96 as control surface for FCP
I have been trying for quite some time now to get my Yamaha O1V96 to work as a control surface in FCP (latest version).
It is connected with Midi over USB. This Midi works fine, as the standard Yamaha software does communicate over Midi with the mixer.
Anyone has experience with this mixer? Or any helpful hints?

Seems there’s not a lot of talk here at the COW about the Midi interface… On pages III- 99-100 is the procedure to install… you’ve followed this, and …nothing?

Yep, I tried the procedure there, but no result. I also tried the different protocols FCP can handle: Mackie, Mackie XT, Logic and Logic XT. Still no result. The strange thing I see is that FCP somehow does not save the setting that I use Logic (normal or XT). This could mean a software-problem, or it maybe is an automatic setting. Anyone knows about this?
