  Xsan and After Effects

  So this weekend we migrated our old server to a nice, shiny new Apple Xsan. Other then permission issues most everything works.

  However, in After Effects when I open an old project I get an error whenever it points at a jpeg file. The error reads “After Effects error: file format module parameter error.” If I open the jpeg in Photoshop or Preview or Final Cut it reads the file correctly. If I work with the file off of my local drives or off of another server it is fine. So it seems to be limited to jpeg files on the Apple Raids when working with After Effects.

  Anyone else experiencing the same or a similar issue? Thanks in advance for any help!
