I just noticed that my new PC has two graphics cards, the NVIDIA 1050 I just installed (replacing a 730 I think) and also an Intel HD Graphics 530. Should I “disable” the Intel graphics card in Device Manager or just leave it be?

Depending on your energy saving/performance/application speficic settings the integrated GPU will be used instead of the beefier 1050.

I have the box set to max. power (no energy saving) and PPro to performance over memory. So, should I leave it alone or disable it? Is it possible they work in tandem or will it always be one or the other being used?

You can disable the Intel. More chance of having a conflict than any benefit.
    Good Luck!
