  • Xpresso Noise Node – random seed?

Hi there, I’m making a title sequence.

Basically I have a typography setup which uses an Xpresso Noise Node with a Compare Node (IF Noise < 0.3, Then ON, Else OFF) to make my text 'flicker' on and off. I want to re-use this scene multiple times to use for the different text titles, but I don't want exactly the same 'on/off' pattern each time. So, I went to look for the 'random seed' slider expecting to be able to change it each time I do a new title. But I can't see one in the Noise Node attributes. Just wondered why?? Is there something I am missing or a work around? Thanks, John

Not sure why they didn’t put it in the node’s properties, but there is a seed input for the node, so you can create that port and feed a constant node into it to change the seed.
