xpost – sorry – FCP to Shake and back – gammashift solutions?
I’ve asked over at the shake forum… twice (some months betweeen), but I am really not too happy with the FCP “send to shake” workflow, because of the gamma shift issue.
But, there must be many (and even more these days) who works with both programs.
What are your workarounds?
Shake is a lovely app. So is FCP.
But I’m not happy with what happens when I send a file betweemn them.So far I’ve tried DVCPRO HD, DV50 and uncompressed. Exporting dependant and independant files from FCP and then doing a filen to Shake.
Best thing would be a good way to make the “send to shake” feature work, as one could roughly line up composites in FCP and do all the nice stuff in Shake.Also Shake is wonderfull for touching up images. If it only worked…
Any ideas?
