XMP-Bridge —— A Tangible Benefit in PPro 2.0?
Could someone please comment on XMP- Bridge?
Adobe has invested lots of time and money into bridge which is built on XMP. I have far from a complete understanding of XMP, but XMP data is formated in XML. This data becomes part of the header information.
Are there tangible benefits for PPro 2.0 users derived from XMP data? Or is it Adobe’s effort to bridge all metadata in all types of media with no immediate benefit for 2.0 users? Or will it take 3rd party plug-ins to add functionality with XMP?
Anxiously awaiting to see if this is the new foundation for media management.
