    Hey, All,

I’ve got this crazy thing happening & wonder if it’s happened to any of you…

I’m working as an assistant on FCP 5.1.4. (please don’t tell me to upgrade. It is currently not an option…) The editor is working on FCP 6. The editor sends me a timeline as an XML version 3. So far, so good.

When I import, I leave all the boxes checked: Override with settings from XML, Reconnect to Media Files, Include Markers, Include Audio/Video Effects.

Everything comes in OK, I reconnect all the media, but I’ve lost the audio mix, and I’ve lost all motion formatting on the stills (rotation, size, keyframing, etc.).

    Is this normal?

    Thanks in advance,

    Peace & respect,

    Joy E. Reed

…a little more info: editor sent me 3 reels, exported as a batch. Reel 1 loses all formatting, Reel 2 & 3 come in correctly.

Has this happened to anyone else?

    Peace & respect,
